School & SaaS Provider Data Usage and Marketing Agreement
Annexure 1

This Data Usage and Marketing Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the undersigned parties:

The School and EduBoards.in (“SaaS Provider”), a SaaS-based platform provider located at Kelammbakkam, Chennai, TN.

Hereinafter, both the School and SaaS Provider shall collectively be referred to as the “Parties.” The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the terms and conditions under which the School and SaaS Provider will use the data collected in application forms (Forms A, B, and C) and the data updated in the Lead Management software hosted on the EduBoards.in platform for marketing, promotions, and sharing with third parties.

1. Data Usage for Marketing and Promotions

By agreeing to this document, the School acknowledges and grants permission for EduBoards.in to use the following data for marketing and promotional purposes:

  • All information provided in application forms (Forms A, B, and C), including personal details such as the student’s name, contact information, and other relevant details.

  • All data entered and updated in the Lead Management software or any other system associated with the EduBoards.in platform.

The data may be used for, but is not limited to, the following purposes:

  • Creation of promotional materials, advertisements, and brochures.

  • Publication on digital platforms, including the School’s website, social media accounts, email newsletters, and third-party platforms.

  • Distribution of promotional content related to the School’s services, including updates on events, special offers, or other relevant news.

The School acknowledges that the data may be edited or modified for marketing materials as necessary.

2. Use of Student Data for Sending Promotional Messages

By accepting this Agreement, the School grants EduBoards.in permission to use student data stored in the Lead Management software and any other data provided by the School to send promotional messages. These messages may include:

  • Information about new programs, services, and school events.

  • Invitations to educational webinars, seminars, or school activities.

  • Newsletters and other promotional communications.

These promotional messages may be sent via various communication methods, including, but not limited to, email, text messages (SMS), push notifications, or direct mail.

3. Sharing Data with Third Parties

The School understands and agrees that EduBoards.in may share certain student data with third parties for marketing and promotional purposes. These third parties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing agencies or advertising partners.

  • Service providers assisting in the distribution of promotional messages.

  • Event organizers or program partners for joint promotions or initiatives.

  • Analytics providers or any other partners assisting with data processing or promotional efforts.

EduBoards.in will ensure that these third parties comply with applicable confidentiality agreements and use the data solely for the purposes outlined in this Agreement.

4. Data Security and Privacy

Both the School and EduBoards.in are committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of student personal information. All data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and privacy regulations. Reasonable precautions will be taken to safeguard data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

5. Consent and Opt-Out

The School acknowledges that the use of student data for marketing and promotional purposes, as outlined in this Agreement, is voluntary. The School may withdraw consent for the use of student data for marketing purposes at any time by providing written notice to EduBoards.in.

Upon receiving such notice, EduBoards.in will discontinue the use of the student’s data for new marketing communications. However, previously distributed marketing materials or content that include the student’s data may remain in circulation unless otherwise specified by the School.

6. Duration of Agreement

This Agreement will remain in effect for the duration of the student’s enrollment with the School, unless either Party terminates it in writing. The consent granted for the use of personal data for marketing and promotional purposes will continue after the student’s enrollment ends unless the School revokes consent in writing.

7. Indemnification and Liability

The School agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EduBoards.in, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of the use of data for marketing, promotions, or third-party sharing, as described in this Agreement.
